For our scholarship program, we are looking for people who are passionate about pursuing their goals, as we believe that the success of a scholarship program depends very much on the motivation and dedication of its holders. Do you fulfil our requirements and would like to take part in our program? Check the application criteria below to find out whether you qualify to apply to our ALLSTAY-scholarship.

Requirements

To be able to apply for the ALLSTAY-scholarship you must fulfil the following criteria:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.

After the application deadline has ended, the university will inform you whether or not you are invited to a selection interview. Online application (CV with maximum length of one page, motivational letter with a maximum length of half a page, a current overview of your grades if available or otherwise your most recent school leaving certificate). Please note: In order to ensure error-free verification of the documents submitted, they will be accepted exclusively in German or English.
  2. Pre-selection by selection committee.
  3. Invitations for selection interviews.
  4. Final selection by steering committee.

Funding conditions

The university awards the ALLSTAY-scholarships for the standard period of study until students have completed their studies, but for a maximum of two years for a master’s course and three years for a bachelor’s course. The university expects scholarship holders to fulfil their academic potential (gaining all ECTS required per semester). This will be evaluated by the university each semester. Should a student’s academic achievements fall below expectations, the university reserves the right to end the scholarship prematurely.

Additionally, you may find scholarships on the website of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD): https://www.daad.de/en/study-and-research-in-germany/scholarships/

If you start in the winter semester, your studies will start in October. If you start in the summer semester, your studies start in April. After your enrolment you will be informed about detailed start dates and breaks.

The tuition and enrolment fees can be found in our fee regulation, on the respective study programme pages and in your study contract.
